Family Physician – Dr Angela Carol Ontario

As a family physician, Dr. Angela Carol Ontario specializes in addiction, mental illness, and pain management. She is a co-chair of the National Faculty of Patient and Public Education at the Michael DeGroote National Pain Centre. Before joining the medical community, Dr. Carol spent time working in child and youth care, as a social worker, and as a teacher. Outside of medicine, Dr. Carol has a broad range of interests. She’s a member of Hamilton’s Theatre Aquarius, a strong supporter of the Ancaster Theatre, and a passionate Hamilton Ti-Cats fan. She’s also a soccer coach for her son and served as a trainer during his youth hockey games. She also has extensive experience as a teacher and volunteer at her daughter’s school.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Carol has diverse interests. She is a proud member of Hamilton’s Theatre Aquarius and Ancaster Theatre. She’s a big fan of the Hamilton Ti-Cats. In addition, she coached her son’s soccer team and served as his trainer during his hockey games. She’s been a member of the Medical Legal Society of Canada for three years and is an active member in community organizations.

Apart from practicing medicine, Dr. Carol is also involved in several organizations. She is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, an expert in addiction medicine, and a member of the American College of Family Practice and the Academy of Family Medicine. She is an advocate of medical education in addiction medicine and is an advocate of educating medical students about the topic. And as a member of the Medical Legal Society, she is an active advocate for the cause of improving health care access.

A family physician, Dr. Carol has various interests outside of medicine. She is a member of the Hamilton Theatre and is a supporter of the Ancaster Theatre. Her passion for hockey inspired her to volunteer with the Hamilton Ti-Cats. In addition to serving on the board of the Ancaster Theatre, Dr. Carol is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and McMaster University.

She also works with students on developing addiction treatment programs. She is also an advocate for addiction medicine in educational institutions and her work with students.
